Alexander Stachurski

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and the Warsaw School of Economics, he is currently pursuing a PHD degree in legal science from the Jagiellonian University in the field of penal law.

After completing his studies, he successfully passed the exam for Legal Advisor Trainee.

Alexander was the recipient of a scholarship for exceptional academic achievements.

He wrote his master’s thesis on the Constitutional Crisis in Guerrero, México, where he has spent a semester as a research fellow at El Colegio de México.

During his studies he was the president of the British Parliamentary Debate Society, representing Poland at European Championships and the World Championship in Cape Town. Alexander was also the Polish Champion in British Parliamentary Debating and actively helped the community by teaching high-school and university students on how to debate and correctly formulate arguments.

He gained expertise on European affairs as a Trainee of EU’s Committee of the Regions. Among others, he worked on the democratization of transport opportunities within the European Union.

He is passionate about philosophy and pop-culture.

He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
